First Annual Fashion Week San Diego 2008

With so many new high-fashion stores at San Diego malls and trendy independent boutiques scattered around the Gaslamp and La Jolla shopping districts, it’s about time we are recognized for our SoCal fashion sense. In case you guys haven’t heard, this September marks the inaugural Fashion Week San Diego.
The first ever Fashion Week in San Diego is going to take place at the Big Tent at the Sheraton Harbor Island – the waterfront hotel sitting on the marina, just adjacent to the airport. Although the big white tent will house runway shows every night, the event spans beyond just the Sheraton hotel grounds. There will be Q&A fashion seminars, shopping discounts around the county, and plenty of after parties and charitable shopping events.
